He has a B.Sc Certificate in Geography with First Class Honours in 2010 and recently completed his M.Sc programme in the field of Climatology. He has been to a number of conferences in Nigeria. Brief Biography

Dr. Thaddeus Chidi Nzeadibe, an environmental professional and chartered waste manager, is a Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of Postgraduate Programmes  in the Department of  Geography, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is also a Visiting Scholar at the Nordic Africa  Institute (NAI) Uppsala, Sweden. He holds a PhD in Environmental Management and an M.Sc and B.Sc in Geography.  He has been involved in consultancy, teaching, research and
publication in Geography, Environmental Science, Waste Management and Recycling; Social  Impact/Quality of Life Assessment in Nigeria, as well as Climate Change Governance, Awareness and Indigenous Innovations for Adaptation. Chidi has won research grants from  the International Foundation for Science (IFS), Stockholm, Sweden and African Technology  Policy Studies Network (ATPS), Nairobi, Kenya. He has  also conducted funded research for
the NAI, Uppsala , and Africa Institute of South Africa (AISA), Pretoria/ University of  Mauritius, Reduit.  He has participated in a project on Sustainable Land Management  titled Resilient Agriculture-based Livelihoods and Resilient  Agricultural Landscapes in  Nigeria for the Swiss National Science Foundation and Centre for Development and  Environment, (CDE)/University of Bern, Switzerland (2013). Dr. Nzeadibe has also  consulted for the United Nations Environment Programme, Division of Technology, Industry and Economics ,International Environmental Technology Centre, Osaka, Japan for the Global Waste Management Outlook (GWMO)(January 2014). He has to  his credit 19 peer-reviewed Journal articles, 1 book (co-author), 6 book chapter contributions,

  • policy briefs and numerous conference presentations at first-rate international conferences including the UNECA/AUC/AfDB-organized First Climate Change and Development for Africa (CCDA-I) Conference (Addis Ababa , Ethiopia , October 2011) and  the Second Nordic Conference for Development Research (Espoo, Finland, November 2013). He is a recipient of the CIWM International Members Award which was presented at Paignton, UK (June 2007) .
